I numbskulled it this morning (forgot to do this before I left the house). I need overall length of 1125R verified. Spec sheet says 80". Making an offer on a trailer in the next hour or two and want to make sure I don't get it home and realize I numbnutted it. (oops, 2" short and stuck with a trailer I can't use). Mercy heaps of thanks... |

80 is about right but if I were in your shoes I would get something 90" or longer just so you will have a little room to play with |

Thanks Josh - I agree, and seem to remember about 83" to the back of the plate. Just want to see if someone could throw a tape on theirs and see what they get. |

54" wheelbase + 17" wheel = 71. That's not to the tip of the tail, though, but the number you need to ask "how long does the truck bed need to be?" |

Or another way of putting it: If I have two vertical surfaces, how far apart do they need to be to be able to fit the 1125 in between? OR - how long would a shipping box need to be to get the bike inside? |

Nice answers guys, but he's asking someone to actually USE A TAPE MEASURE. Sorry, mine bike's in the shop or I'd do it myself . . . |

Geez. An hour and 20 minutes for someone to get out a tape. I swear to god people will spend 8 hours looking something up online rather than just taking a look for themselves. BTW, I am not being a grumpy ass here, I probably would have tried to look it up before getting out the tape. (Message edited by RatsMC on May 15, 2010) |

Stirz007 for whats its worth that measurement was from the outboard side of the front and rear tires. I eliminated the stock plate holder. also Im running a 190mm rear tire but I dont think that really matters but just in case |
