Have any of you guys replaced the reed switch that sends the signal the the canceller module? I believe it's inside the speedometer. |

Well,S2pengy loaned me a speedometer to try and it verified that the reed switch inside the speedo is bad.My signals cancelled with the loaner speedo in place. Now to find a speedo. |

serendipity .....I have a speedo.......trade you for the cable guide. Has about 40K on it and needs a light bulb. Turn signals worked fine. Ride safe....Jack |

Point of information for people looking to replace the discontinued OEM turnsignal cancellor Badlands motorcycle products makes a plug in replacement here is a link to their page http://www.badlandsmotorcycleproducts.com/2008/Pro ducts/BETCSM.htm#ATSIII Item #21 is the direct replacement for the S2 I just had to replace my original and although it does not bolt in place as the original I left the original bolted in place and zip tied this unit to it and it works well. |
