or rather i got that backwards The flash brought out the real colour on my bike which is barricade orange NOT yellow. |

Yes, the "touring" windshield is the XT windshield. It came out as an accessory, and then they made it standard on the XT. Same piece. |

Now I have put in about 200 miles of riding with the new windshield and so far I LOVE IT With the X shield the wind would hit me from the bellybutton up. It was really hard to ride passed 65 Mph. I really had to hang-on to the grips and it was rather unpleasent. With the XT shield, the wind hits me at shoulder level, and I have clean air for my head. Even, today's drive in, very gusty, was so much more pleaseant than what I was anticipating, having been used to the X shield. I am 6'2" with 32" leg. I have gone upto 90Mph so far with the new shield and I remains very comfortable upto about 85-90, where the wind starts about the same as the X shield when riding at 60 mph. Great buy! |
