Is it expected phenomenon that we can't even get into some threads because the thread title has been replaced with link to the Erik Buell Racing site? |

Yes, don't put E B R into a thread title. Same as A S B. Oh, and there aren't any threads you can't get into. (Message edited by froggy on April 29, 2010) |

Aahhh...Thanks! I can say I have not run across that before. Or, perhaps I am just terribly unobservant. Or, it could be that my memory is poor. Well, probably one of those anyway. |

You can still click on the threads, just move over to a word in the title that doesnt say those things. |

It's brilliant. The more exposure the better. |

Too bad it isn't flashing or scrolling in the title. |

Yep, but the one issue is, people seem to say Erik Buell Racing about 50 times as often as American Sport Bike, so it is a little spammy. We are working on fine tuning this |

Hmm, maybe that wasn't a good idea, the link to Erik Buell Racing got broke doing that. |

There wasn't a link to Erik Buell Racing in the title, but I can add one and prevent people from viewing the thread |

I think its great to have Erik Buell Racing everywhere. If you don't like it...what's your problem? These guys are our last source. treat them accordingly. |

The problem is when you go to click on a thread, you get their website that you are well aware exists. It is more annoying than helpful. ac |

Hey all, I wanna be PERFECTLY clear...I have absolutely no issue with ErikBuellRacing hyperlinks all over the place. Tell me he wants to vinyl wrap my car at his cost to promote his race team, and I'll gladly let him. Tattoo adverts are even within reason, though I reserve the right to negotiate content and location for my own best interests. I was merely asking about it since I never saw title of threads altered like that before. |

I think the links are kind of pointless and rather annoying. Pretty much everyone who has spent more than a few minutes browsing this board has read about Erik Buell Racing and has figured out the web address so there's no need for links everywhere. It's basically preaching to the choir. |

C'mon is it REALLY that hard to click on something OTHER than the Erik Buell Racing link in the thread title? If it's truly THAT hard for you then you have issues extending way past the Badweb. |

It isn't that hard...it's just annoying. The whole thread title looks the same and then you click and another window opens. It just seems dumb. I know where Erik Buell Racing is. What does making it a link in every title accomplish? I would venture to say for every 1 time someone who is unaware of Erik Buell Racing clicks and gets the site, 20 others just get annoyed. ac |

What exactly is annoying about it if you are bright enough to avoid clicking on the like to send you to said website? And how do you have ANY idea how many lurkers are out there that learn of Erik Buell Racing via this link? You don't need to answer. |

The part that gets really silly is that if someone titles their thread "The Erik Buell Racing set of forks are the most amazing thing on Earth" the only word that links to the actual thread is "The". Google exists. If someone reads a thread about an Erik Buell Racing product, and wants more info, the will google it. If they are lurking that is probably how they found this place! ac |

I know Badweb threads pop up in LOTS of Buell related searches, so I wouild guess that's how most lurkers get directed here. |
