Hey Guys and Girls, With the resent developments at EBR, I think that we (fellow Buell riders) should support Erik by any means that we can. If that means buying something that you wanted but didn't really need, or just buying it cause you flat out really wanted it. If you have read the article in this months Cycle World, and your as passionate about Buell as I am, then you may have found yourself mad at H-D for the crimes that they put Erik through. Now with Geoff's possibility of riding for EBR in the AMA superbike series on the 1125RR, with the limits that they have, it would be a great time to provide support to them. And something to remember, in one year's time, Erik's two year contact will be over and he will have the opportunity to start making street bikes again! I think, if there's enough interest and support, along with some more top finishes, then Erik and team (his backers) will start producing street bikes again. Then and only then would we have the chance to get hands on the Barracuda 2(B2) project! That would be something AWESOME! I look forward to reading you comments! As well as what mod's have been made and what is planned for the future! My Mod's: HPE Race Pipe (purchased before EBR's full system was out) Side Fairings Future Mod's: Steering Stab Race ECM Front and Rear race suspension Case protectors High Flow air filter Belly Pan Chain conversation w/ GP shifter (Message edited by mrrickbo on April 28, 2010) |

i AGREE!!! 100% Check out the EBR website BEFORE you buy someplace else--they have some great goodies for your XB and 1125R. IN general, EBR prices are competitive and shipping very reasonable. I know they are supposed to get the keyless gas cap in stock very soon, so that's a purchase I intend to make. Pretty cool knowing your purchase is in part helping put the RR on the Superbike grid. EBR also has the CF case guards among LOTS of items.... |

I also agree 100%, the problem we have here in the UK is called Her Majesty's Custom & Excise - import duty and red tape - Ideally EBR would come to some arrangement to sell their products through someone like Adrenalin Moto (Trojan) or via selected Buell dealers. I can't praise the customer service from EBR enough - 100% satisfied customer |

It is about as dead as Erik himself I need to message him about getting XBRR bodywork. |

Got my race ecm monday along with my Keda RT3 (don't have the $ for Erik Buell Racings race pipe) I have to believe this is the way Erik intended for the bike to run. Best mod so far, if you are even remotely considering getting an ecm, buy it, you won't be disappointed. |

I just ordered my ECM today after putting it off forever. Who needs running water and electricity anyway! Case covers are next on the list. |

Will the Erik Buell Racing ECM for pump fuel work with a stock exhaust and filter? |

ask Erik Buell Racing but I seem to remember that another owner has already done this on this forum. (Message edited by Dirty_john on April 29, 2010) |

Thanks! Need to keep stock pipe for noise reasons--where I live you get popped by the gendarme for excessive noise. |

I've got my eye on a Bellypan and an ECM. I sent an email to Erik Buell Racing about the ECM but no replies yet. Has anyone tried the ECM. A friend recommended it. He said it changed the whole character of the bike; it ran smoother, cooler, more pep, lower idle speed. All that sounds good to me, but I read a review last week that really had me questioning it. Anybody else try this? Thanks Peter |

Amen! I got the ECM about 2 weeks ago, great result, smooooooth. I have a K&N but still stock exhaust. Killed 2 birds with one stone, I did the CR swingarm swap & needed to correct for the gearing change & wanted to smooth out & tune up the bike, Erik Buell Racing set me up with a CR version for my R. Purrfect. Hec I even went to his band site & a pre-release kit & shirt, just to support the guy. I got hooked on Buell in the late 90's, got a X1W in '99, it was like a motard ahead of its time, so wicked fun, I'd joke that it had a fraction of the HP of my ZX9 at the time but it would get me in way more trouble. I wasn't happy when he went to HD, I thought this will be the end of a the vision of a guy who's got a great one, then I thought, no wait, it's finally coming together, and then I thought, dang-it just when it was happening they killed it, and now I'm thinking come on Erik keep the dream alive for all of us. I truly wish him the best & hope for the future. Aw, now I'm little weepy, sniffle. (Message edited by DMan on April 29, 2010) |

I ordered the CD and T-shirt as well last week. The demo tracks are excellent! EB said in an interview that at least he could play for food--I think he could play for serious moola. |

Anybody know what Erik Buell Racing has the highest margin on? If I buy $60 worth of decals and Erik Buell Racing gets $50 out of the deal, I'd rather do that than buy the $390 nano battery and Erik Buell Racing only gets $20. (If it's on the exhaust or ECM though I've already bought one of each of those.) |
