I have heard that the ebr ecm is great, smooths out the bike and makes it run great. But i am wondering if it will void the manufactures warranty on the bike. I would get the pump gas one, not the race gas one. |

If you have an issue, take the 10 minutes and swap back to the stock one, then take it to the dealer. |

How would the dealer know if you have one - as previously stated it's a 10 min job to swap back to stock |

If you bring your bike in to the dealer for warranty service with the Erik Buell Racing ECM installed and there is some sort of engine or rideability issue, there is a good possibility that whatever service is required may not be covered under warranty. Technically speaking, the manufacturer has to prove that the aftermarket part caused the failure, but if the manufacturer decides that the part has voided the warranty, it'll be up to you to pursue them in court to try to prove otherwise. In short, it would be foolhardy to bring your bike in for service with an aftermarket part installed that could be related to the problem you're having, especially if the aftermarket part can be easily returned to stock. great points guys. Will a ebr ecm work with the stock air filter and exhaust? i don't want to swap the exhaust because i don't want to risk the ticket. Is the ebr ecm a big improvement in performance over the stock, or does it just smooth out the bike? |

When you order mention its for a stock setup. Also, take a look at the KEDA MT-1 pipe, its a reworked stock pipe, not as loud as the aftermarket stuff. |

I emailed today and they said it worked with a stock 49-state exhaust, but they hadn't done one with a cat-equipped CA bike. I didn't even realize the CA bikes *had* cats, thought it was only the Euro bikes, but there you go. They did say the driveability improvements w/stock were significant. KeS |
