Anyone know if the 1125 has an idle adjustment screw, like the Firebolts? Theres the little idle adjust thing under the engine scoop on the left side on the Bolts. Just wondering if we have anything like that or if it has to be manually done on the throttle bodies. |

Ecmread/tunerpro, set the idle air control to what you want. Mine's at 1300 warm. |

All DDFI3 Buell's have a computer controlled idle. You can alter it to whatever you desire with Tunerpro. |

It went away with TPS resets and all the other BS with the DDFI2 bikes. Computer controlled idle improves cold starting, makes getting off the line easier and idle will automatically adjust itself up and down as needed. With the knob, you need to have to open the airbox, check the throttle bodies are fully closed, zero out the TPS, turn the knob back, and hope that it isn't idling too high when you are riding and let off the gas causing it to hang. Or you don't adjust it correctly and it stalls when cold. |
