Looking to swap out a troubled engine on a 2005 xb12scg with a later 2007/8 xb12 Thunderstorm engine. I believe the engines will interchange as far as mounting in the frame goes. But the oil lines look completely different in routing and attachment. Can the later model Thunderstorm engine be retrofitted into the earlier bike and what mod's are necessary if any? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!! |
