I was wondering if anyone knows how to link both brakes to the foot brake. I have a xb12scg and need some help to find parts like, a bigger rear master cylinder, proportioning valve, and or other ideas. Has anyone done this?

I am interested in this too, I haven't really been able to use my front brake much since my wreck breaking my right wrist last year.

Moto-guzzi uses the foot brake for rear and front brake on the V50 army bike!

I never ever ever use my rear brake, but good luck!! That site adapts bikes for disabled, maybe they can help link the brakes as well.

BMW has has this for years so you might find what you need off a wreck. There was a Japanese touring bike that also had this, again maybe a wreck will help.

Yes, my 06 goldwing has linked brakes, and my old 02 honda vfr interceptor had them as well. Maybe you can incorporate parts from one of those...

I'm pretty sure some later models of the Honda Black Bird also had linked braking system.

Boost, learn to use that rear brake, you'll trim you stopping distance by 25% or more. Will save your bacon when emergency stopping is needed.

Simple banjo bolt fix. Use a longer banjo bolt that'll hold two lines (like a double front rotor set-up does) add some fresh copper washers and the right length hose and that'll be a start. I don't know if you'll need to add an auto proportioning valve for the rear line or not. New fluid, bleed it all out and go find an empty parking lot somewhere to test it all out.

You'll be moving fluid for both brakes and you may find you won't move enough fluid to activate the brakes as the pads wear. Be thinking about that....that'll be time to talk to Brembo.
