I am interested in getting an aftermarket muffler to help my bike breathe a bit easier. However, I wanted to know what it's numbers look like before I do anything else. It is an '09 XB12Ss with an Erik Buell Racing ECM with the stock muffler tune, K&N filter, crankcase breather re-route, and stock muffler. The numbers are not too far off from what I was expecting.

They didn't do AFR because they sad that it looked like they would have trouble inserting the probe far enough to get a good reading. I wish that I had taken the picture from the manual that shows the muffler's internals, but I didn't think of it.

The missing data between 4100-4200 RPM is when the inductive pickup momentarily lost contact with the spark plug wire. They had to remove the left-side scoop to get to the spark plug wire, and we all know how short those wires are.

Well enough blabber... here's the chart:

-09 XB12Ss dyno pull with Erik Buell Racing ECM- stock muffler- - K-N air filter

I will be sending the ECM back to Erik Buell Racing to be re-flashed for new pipe. I haven't decided on which one yet, but I'll be sure to post the results.
