$70 from American Sportbike? Check your local Aprilia dealer, I got mine for $24 ea from the local shop.

Aprilia's MSRP is $35 a side on the mirrors, I was able to get mine cheaper than that through a discount at my dealer when I got them 3 years ago.

Well then Aprilia's bumping the price up. When I bought mine from the local Aprilia dealer they were $36 per pair about three years ago.

Whoever makes these mirrors is kicking butt, I've seen them on Guzzi's and BMW's also. Damn good mirror IMHO.

The price has gone up on the Tuono mirrors. When I bought a pair for my '06 Uly in '07 they were $38.00 for the pair. Last December I bought a pair for Terri from the same Aprilia dealer, and they cost me $60.00.
Oddly; Terri doesn't like them and we're going to put the stock lollipops back on her Ss.

Crusty, if you're gonna part with those I'm interested.

I just came in from the garage. The Tuono mirrors are now on my Guzzi Norge, and Terri has her lollipops back. She's happy; I'm happy.
I really didn't like the stock Norge mirrors.

That's weird on the pricing as I just picked mine up in Feb. Got 'em at Moto International. http://www.motointernational.com/main.htm I may have gotten a sweetheart deal as I'm regularly in for bits and pieces for the Guzzi, but the parts guy seemed surprised at how cheap they were listed for.

Well hell, now I'm mad at everybody, I paid over 70 bucks for mine... No beers at all now!

Actually it was money well spent either way, as I like them.

Hi,

I am new to the board, but after lurking for a few months I finally registered today. I ordered a set of the Tuono mirrors today for my XB12XT and look forward to hopefully being able to lose some of the mirror vibration with the Tuono's.

Was wondering if anyone knew of a source for the KLR650 mirror vibration isolators that some are using with these ? Everywhere I have checked says "out of stock" or has told me I must purchase the entire mirror. Thanks for any input !

Wait until you install the new mirrors to see if you actually still want the isolators.
I put on the Aprilia mirrors 2 years ago, and am plenty satisfied with them. No need for isolators.
Only blurry at idle, and no isolator is going to remove that the way these twins vibe at idle.

My 1125's with the stock mirrors are clear as day at idle, but then again that might be because of the better motor : )

I use the isolators, and the mirrors will still shake some...but the buzz vibration is gone. What I really like is that the isolators raise my Tuono mirrors up about an inch which seems to improve my viewing angle.

So what's the part number for the isolators?

I bought mine a couple years ago at this place:

http://www.klr650.com/MrVibIso.htm

They are listed as sold out...but you could also call them to see what the deal is.

I got the Barracuda moto mirrors that are way pricey, but are really good as per view and looks, had Rizoma before that were small and when well adjusted were ideal, but mot is being strict in spain, and the told me to get the E marked mirrors, while waiting for the barracuda the shop i was getting them from lent me a set of old mirrors, hate this mot stuff.

Got the new Tuono mirrors today and put them on. WOW what a difference.Clarity in the mirrors is alot better. They just look more natural on the Uly as opposed to the stock round ones to me as well.

I still would like to find a set of the vibration isolators for the reason of raising up the mirrors a bit, but really the tuonos are a big improvement by themselves.

Might have to follow Maximums suggestion and try to call around to see why everyone is out of stock.
