Bob, you may be right. The SB9SX calls for the BU009 L-brackets and the XBR calls for the BU008 brackets. Not sure what the difference is...

The brackets for the R's are indeed not the same as the S's. Ventura's ap chart will make it clear.

I have the stuff for my 06 XB9SX. It actually fits any "short" XBS, ie XB12S, etc. Anything, but the lightning long or that XBTT or whatever they called it.

I would sell you mine, if I could get my bike sold.

what exactly do you need? I am not sure what the "brackets and short rack"is... I am parting out my XB9X...I have almost every stock part in great condition.

You figure you can make more $ parting out the City, than selling it?

Keep us posted on that. The prices are depressing. (If you are selling)

My 06 is like new. I have been trying to sell it for $3995 and haven't got a single call!

At that price, I'll just keep it as a spare.
