That sound clip is an mp3 file, not wav (or midi), and it's already been cleaned up from Bads1's original recording, sorry that's the best I could do. Today an old 2nd hand laptop turned up, I will try to record some Drummer sounds on the road, need a new battery first, then when it's done we'll need a place to store a 1 or 2Mb wav or mp3 file versus the 60kb file space allowed on BadWeb. Any donors? |

Opto, There's no sweeter sound than an engine being wound out smoothly and aggressively through the gears. I hope you can get a drive by that is like that. Email me the file and I will post it to Kevin's web site if I have the space. |

Jersey I'll see what I can do.Impulse is in are BRAG chapter and the guy really and I mean really has the equipment to do this right.After all the guy has a sound studio. |

I just got back from dinner. Which was after I got caught in the rain, in Milwaukee, on my bike, without raingear...Yep, I'm a dipshit
So we can do this anytime after after 4pm all week, except tomorrow since I'll be at Miller Park until 6pm. We could do it tomorrow at 7pm though.
I'm thinking that there might be a way to actually record the bike while you're riding. But it would take me a couple of days to figure out how get a mic to stay put and not hear only wind noise. They we just run a cable up to a portable minidisk player and we're golden.
I'll give you a call tomorrow. E-mail me and let me know when you won't be at the bar.

If this works you guys will owe me a beer (or at least a diet pepsi)when I come down to Clemmons this summer to show off my first born to my Mom's family. My wife and Mother are going to drive and I'm going to scoot it and earn my iron butt award. Besides, I'm going to need an oil change after the 700 odd miles from Milwaukee to Clemmons.
