Holy crap! Orlando Harley/Buell isn't on the list but Central Fl. HD/Buell is. These guys didn't know how to spell Buell 6 months ago. Should be interesting. I'm going for a test ride. JT |

Just come in and test ride and we'll give you this cool dragon shirt, we mean it this time,..... oops Buell hasn't actually sent us any shirts even though the give away ends tomorrow.... fill out this paper and we'll send one to you...... And even Team Elves who by the way I still fully support and will continue to do so....has gotten a contribution from me, that was supposed to have a return of a very cool looking 203 mph shirt...... and 25 extra bucks to help buy Richard a ring or something....no shirt.... I am going to keep taking advantage of their come ride the crap out of our stuff... not holding my breath for any free stuff though. Pilk |

I picked up one yesterday...and I'm glad I have my s3t. I am a bit too tall for the xb-s. Took out a 12s, and while it's handling was superior to my s3, it just felt too cramped. Liked the R's tho..As for the sling- I have a XXL Symax helmet, and it fits alright... |

Dave, ps, since you're not bannered up on the site here yet.... Does Appleton have any of those Draggin' Jeans in stock? How's the price compare with other retail options? And have you ever been down to the TorqueCenter in NewBerlin? Don't know if the Appleton area has anything equivalent up there but might be worth a business study consideration for your new shop. |

as for our European, Asisan and, most expecially, Canadian brothers and sisters, while I'm not entirely familliar with teh sales model HD and BUell are using, I have worked for a number of companies that do business on a world wide basis . . . you should be addressing your comments about bags, t-shirts, and other offeres to the folks that are selling the bikes in your neck of the woods, the importers . . . . the reason there are importers in the first place is because these countries have decided to structure their laws in such a way as to make it easier to do business that way . . . .. . . I've seen some of the cool stuff that's offered by VW in it's home markert (including cars) that I can't get here, for instance . . . .. . . . lot's of bike models available in a number of markets that just aren't sold here in the states (although this seems to be getting better) globalization is coming, I think (and hope), but slowly . . .. . if it means that we in the states will be handing the keys over to a bunch of grumpy old dudes in Brussels, though, I hope it slows down |

Mike, I just sent Blake an email about the sponsorship. We will be a sponsor soon. No "Draggin Jeans" in stock. Not sure where to get them? As soon as I get a day off during the week I plan on checking out all the shops up here and eventually will make my way south and check out the rest of my competition. Ride to the edge! Dave

Alex, I think you're right, but I'm in the sizing category of "try it on before I buy it". I'm not disproportionate, I was built this way on purpose. |

Bomber, I don't even have a Buell retailer here on the Island. Personally I think Harley should MAKE all the retailers carry Buell and not give them an option. Probably sell more bikes that way too. Until then I can only wish and hope for free stuff in the mail..........Hint, HINT I do however, have two real nice t-shirts others have sent me "Slay the Dragon" and "Own the Corners". I like the corners one better than the dragon. Now the bag would be great!!!!!! |

Might I just add, Newfie, that this bag is easily the coolest free thing I've ever received. Words can barely describe it's laudable qualities - the many pockets, the price, the size, the price, how easy it was to get one, the price...

Newfie -- given the sterling work that many dealers accomplish that voluteered to sell Buells, I shudder to think what some others would do if they were forced to carry them -- there may be a momentary upward blip in sales (almost by mistake), but the think the longer term affect would be a horrible decrease . . . I'm thinking of a specific shop around here that, when I asked them 3/4 years go if they'd start carrying buells, responded, "you're kidding, right?" |

That is so true Bomber, when forced to do something your certainly gonna do a crappy job at it, and in the long run make things worse !! Nearly ALL successful people LOVE their work and that's what makes them successful !! You gotta believe in what you do, or what's the point ?? CJ |

I know it's kind of a double edged sword. If all dealer HAD to carry them, you'd have more dealers. BUT you'd also have more dealers that didn't care. So you can either have lots of dealers, many of whom do a really poor job(OK, suck!) OR you can have fewer dealers but a higher percentage that do a good job? I am not sure what the "right" answer is. The answer is in making cloning legal! Ride to the edge! Dave |

AP - Milwaukee. Cloning project gone WAY wrong From HD labratories, 400 Kool-aid swilling Hippies were seen flying down the highway on Buell motorcycles. They all appeared to be smiling and wearing a Buell garage shirt with the name Dave. Forgien Bike executives were quoted as saying "oh crap... there goes the neighborhood". A HD spokesman said that plans are in order for batch two to be released next week. This secret batch was affectionately named The Bubba Batch. More ifo to come as further developments are released... |

I was thinkin about the cloning idea -- while it's a good one, I think Dave and Bubba (and the other great Buell pros at the various dealers that are worth visiting) will be the first (OK, second) to say that their enthusiasm and skill would have little value to us, their customers, without the support of the dealers they work for . . . . .. can you imagine a Dave or Bubba at (dealer name deleted)? the frustration and boy count would be staggering! ;-} |
