very loud. has a distinctive sound. easy to tell its a v-twin. but not as easy to tell if its american muscle or italian stallion. looks great, very easy to install, left the chin fairing off too. want to show that bad boy off. turned lots of heads at the drag strip, especially at the buddy stubs harley booth. grunt grunt! |

How does the jardine pipe mount? Does it have rivets in the end cap so it can be repacked? |

rivets on both ends. has an elbow from header to face pipe straight back under motor. broacket on that bend goes to front mount on motor where original aluminum bracket bolted to. rear of can has a strap that goes to a new bracket, which bolts to back of motor. hope that makes sense. i will post pics soon if wanted. |

That makes sense. So basically it is a standard jardine can, with the elbow pipe to mate to the headers, and some mounting hardware. Pics would be great when you get a chance. |

Like I've said before... Jardine still hasn't resolved the chin fairing mount bracket problem. They made them out of aluminum! I've broken 2! They said they would re-manufacture in steel, but nothing yet??? I know this doesn't affect you Bad ass, as you've left it off, but for those of you buying, buyer beware. One known problem for them. I have to agree though, I love the Jardine, left the chin fairing off cuz it looks great and as bad said, might as well show off that chrome! |

Charlie boy, I brought my Jardine 2 months ago and it came with the new steel brackets to mount the fairings. Galvanized steel, nice stuff. Its repackable and comes with a warranty. Everyone turns when i come rumbling along. Hard to beat for $230 bucks!

I gotta say.. I think you guys have the right idea. $250 is enough for a muffler! That's all these "pipes" are, a muffler, not a complete custom exhaust system. Some of these prices are ridiculous. A complete dual Flowmaster 3 in. system for a V-8 muscle car costs less than these guys want for a single muffler. "Dyno-Port" in N.Y. has been one of the top pipe builders for dirt bikes, A.T.V.'s ect (with countless national wins and speed records to his credit) builds complete systems for less than most of these mufflers cost. Jardine has a muffler that is making customers happy at a fair price! Hats off to their designers and business planners! Maybe that's why the Jardine name is known all over the world on all kinds of vehicles. |

The Dyno #`s for the jardine are under Knowledge Vault, Drummer Section. Hey if you have the cash, by all means get the Becin or the new ti-system. They both look badass! But for the price, its hard to beat.

Johncr250 - I will check there. Az28 - very good point. I think my dual 3" system was around $1,200 - years ago though. I also notice Jardine now has Doug Thorley headers. |

JohnCr250, Are you SURE you have a steel right chin fairing bracket? The left one was changed to steel 2 months ago, and all the ones in stock at American Sport Bike have those, but the right steel bracket has not been released yet according to Jardine customer service as of last week. I'll be calling Travis at Jardine customer service tomorrow, but if you DEFINITELY have a right steel bracket, I need to know about it. So far, they're customer service has been very good. Hard pipe to beat for $250. Al |

Just talked to them today... Travis said they've outsourced the laser cutting and have none in stock, but, they're coming, so I've been told for the last two weeks. I'm beginning to feel that they're putting the steel ones in the shipments and getting them out to existing customers as they can; and I'm low priority! Just my opinion. |

Is anyone running the Jardine with the stock ECM? Is there anything to watch out for with that configuration? |

My fairing brackets are steel. What are yours Al? Aluminum ? You could make them in about 1/2 hr. Just get some stainless sheetmetal or plain steel and stencil your old bracket onto it and cut it out with a Jigsaw. The brackets are just flat pieces stamped out. Very simple to make.

I have stock ECM with my Jardine. No problems. I`m sure it would run much harder with race ECM or PCIII. I just haven`t gotten around to getting a PCIII yet. |

More throaty than loud. Don't get me wrong, I've set off a few car alarms, but more due to rumble than volume. Jardines ROCK! John CR250, I know they could be made easily, but I'm one of those that believes a company should make good on their products. So far, they have vowed to, but I'm waiting! |
