I have posted up a few times before, my bro wrecked his buell 1125cr on palomar, during the wreck the instrument cluster got smashed up, and the connector for the instrument cluster got smashed, my question is, has anyone ever changed out the connector? what tools do I need?

The instructions are in the electrical diagnostics manual. It looks pretty easy. It is an AMP Multi Lock made by Tyco. The connector is about $2 from Mouser.

If the terminals aren't fubared, I've found a straightened paperclip that has been sharpened to a flat at the tip works well to depin the old connector. Otherwise the actual AMP depinning tool works like a champ...as it should.

Then depin one at a time and place in the new connector before your move on to the next pin. Makes it easy to keep track of where you are.
