See a number of Buells in the pro classes, Angie Smith for one, and I search the net a bit for more info. Didn't find much with any worthwhile info. So I'm presuming that these are Rotax motor Buell based, and then some commentary about changes in drag racing about racing at 1000 feet as opposed to the 1320 1/4 mile. Can y'all clue me in?   Endoman33 Posted on Sunday, April 11, 2010 - 01:44 pm:        Duphuckincati, The NHRA pro stock Buells are powered by a S&S (G2) built 60 degree V-twin. Really all NHRA pro stock bike are just body work that gives them the name on the bikes. In NHRA Top fuel and Funny cars thier passes have been shorten to 1000 ft due to the death of Scott Kalita on a track that did not have a very long shut down area. All other pro classes run the full 1/4 mile.
