pulled up next to a newer xb12 lightning on the highway today, we both dropped a gear and went WOT, i pulled ahead a foot or two, then up and over an overpass, he regained the foot, shifted to fith and pulled away pretty good. must have been the gearing that helped me in 5th, in 4th we were pretty dead even. pulled up next to him at a light in town, he mentioned something about a race kit... didnt ask me much about mine other than the wheels (xb) and the firebolt handlebars... he didnt seem very happy about the outcome, but i think deep down he thought it was cool. little did he know i had ported xb heads, and a bump in compression :P just thought id share, thought it was cool my tube could keep up with the newer bike with the mods ive done  (so far muhaha) | ||

My little brother has an xb12 and he weighs 145 soaking wet and he would whip my tuber over and over. until i put my 1250 big bore kit on it and now i can rip his XB. | ||

nice- Hey, can you post a new pic of your bike. I know i have seen pics, but dont remember if i ever saw it with the finished XB wheels. | ||

Thanks Mmmi_grad I love this bike, It so outrageous no mater where i go i get so many looks. Today i felt insulted when this un-informed person said "oh you put harley motor in a bullet bike frame" I felt obligatory to inform this idiot what he was actually beholding!! he was clueless????? But i know what this sickness is! and i was off with crack of the throttle! |
