Any interest in these? It's the lower set that the stand is using. If yes, I'll go ahead with them. $43 shipped, just the bracket and bolts only. HD has the factory spools for $5 a set, but I've been waiting on 5 sets for about a month now. They're paid for, I just don't know when they'll show up. In the meantime, I guess ebay has plenty of stock 6 mm spools from various sellers.
They're designed for service work only, please don't leave them on and ride away with them still on the bike. I've load tested them to 330 lbs, so sitting on it isn't a good idea. It's just intended to allow you to change the tire/belt/brakes or general service work with a standard stand.
They're made from billet T6-6061 aluminum.

Depending on how they mount I might be interested.

They clamp on to the swing arm using a bolt, no drilling required. I need to take some better pics, plus test fit it on my various rides.

This screw hole faces out, and uses the same spools as the 2009 1125's so they are cheap and obtainable. (Assuming HD isn't back ordered)

What's the part number for those from HD? Or where did you get them from? I have no way of paying your for those being I don't have paypal and don't intend to get it, so I just have to ask where you got those from.

You will need 2 of each of the following:

A06020.2CVB SCREW, M6X 1.0 X 20. SHCS, BLACK OLIVE Retail Price:$1.00
B0613.1BL WASHER, M6 X 13, FLAT, BLACK CHROMATE Retail Price:$1.00
M0142.1AT REAR AXLE SLIDER Retail Price:$2.50
E0040.1AT TOP HAT BUSHING Retail Price:$2.50

Again, its compatible with many aftermarket offerings too so whatever floats you boat if you don't want to spend $14 retail at your dealer.

Froggy, are those part numbers for what you posted in the pics above and are they the same thing D_Adams was showing in the first post? Also, how well do they fit?

The part numbers are the 2009 OEM 1125 spools that are used with Dean's adapters. I honestly haven't test fitted them yet, I got one of his first sets. I will have more pictures and details tomorrow, along with some RT1 pics : )

All I'm selling at this point is just the bracket. The spools I used were just a chunk of aluminum I turned down on a lathe strictly to test the brackets. They barely even catch on the stand, so really any aftermarket spool or bobbin will work. The one's pictured above by me are not included. What Froggy took pics of is all it is.

Just looking around, there's a lot of them out there. Ebay usually has different stuff too.

What does the clamping bolt clamp on to. please don't tell me its the swinging arm!!!!
If it is it would damage the finish on it!

Yes, it does clamp to the swingarm. With shim stock between the bolt and paint, it leaves a small dimple. Without it, yes, it will scuff the paint, I did it to mine in the testing phase.
No one has come up with a decent alternative besides drilling the swingarm, which I did originally. There's really only so many options available, these were the 2 I came up with. I sold a few of the drilled style, I know people copied the idea/instructions and are still selling them. This one is even easier for the end user, no drilling required, although both either can or will do a small amount of damage to the finish. However, it's also one of the cheapest ways to fit spools to your 2008 model 1125R so you can change tires, especially if you already have a spool type rear stand. Your other alternative is to spend $200 and buy the Pitbull stand.

For a racer on a budget that's using the stock swingarm, this is a 30 second install to swap tires. Clip it on, tighten both bolts, boom, instant spools. Take them back off when done.
Of course, you could always either weld a boss onto the bottom of the swingarm (no, I DON'T recommend this) or get a 09-10 swingarm, but most people don't want to spend that kind of $ just to get spools on their bike.

Dean, would it be possible to make the notched out area a little bit bigger and then put some adhesive-backed rubber on the inside of the brackets? I too am concerned about scratching the finish on the swingarm with metal-to-metal contact.

They're slotted to fit, there's about .008" clearance, then add the .004" shim, it doesn't move around any. Putting rubber in there would make it a much looser fit and things could get ugly in a hurry. I tried to make it as tight of a fit as possible to eliminate any play. I originally had the same thoughts, but it's just too loose using rubber or anything soft in there. The angles change when it's loose and I didn't like the way it sits on the stand like that. Even when you crank down on the bolt, it still flexes too easily. It's certainly not perfect by any means, but it does work.

I measured my stand for width to see what it is. I had previously spread it out with a 3 ton floor jack because it wasn't wide enough. It's 16 3/8" wide right now. I think someone said the T-Rex stand went that wide without spreading it, but I don't recall for sure.
