I have just removed the rear passenger pegs & brackets. Any suggestions or ideas on what I should do with the overflow pipe that was attached to the left bracket? Where would be a safe place to re-route it? thanks guys |

I've seen it ziptied to one of the other lines going down in the front - you just don't want it dripping on the muffler. Or, yeah, charcoal canister it. |

Charcoal canister works great and it can be covered under warranty so you don't have to buy or do the work. |

You can get the canister and two hoses from your local Buell/HD dealer. Check with Buell customer service though, there are some post on here. Where someone said it can be covered under warranty issues due to fuel leak and excessive vapors. Other wise it'll cost you about $60 and 1/2 hour of your time. |

Those passenger pegs are EXCELLENT crash protection even though I agree they look horrible. Consider carefully before running without them. |

The passenger pegs are great for windy days when your laying on the tank and breaking the wind! These back pegs are also a great way to give your arms and neck a rest if you use your left hand to prop your helmet off the gas lid Thats if your not a stoplight to stoplight rider |

I had this same problem and was going to route it lower on the left of the swingarm but when I took the seat of to do it I noticed a nice path behind and then beside, on the right, of the rear cylinder. I then led the wire over the clutch cover and finally zip tied it to the clutch hose/ferule. I don't have any pictures but if you need some I can take them. I actually used the original tubing and it worked nearly perfectly, like it was made to work that way. It doesn't touch the engine or exhaust. Where the tube lets out is about 2" away from the exhaust, even on the side-stand. I witnessed it venting just yesterday and, in my opinion, it was a safe distance away from the muffler. Now my entire fender/swingarm area is clean since I also removed the rear rear pegs, upper belt cover, and rear fender. |
