Zac, wipe that smile off your face, LOL. So where does Loretta fit into this picture? Contrat's on the new baby. It will be weird seeing you on a Uly. |

We are home safe and sound. One of the straps slid and she was leaning a bit. Long day with a happy ending... so far Z |

We got an inch or 2 of the white stuff this morning. Nothing stuck to the roads, will give the Uly it's first ride this morning. I have not ridden it except for rolling backwards off the truck last night. I'm excited. Z |

Thumbs up for both Zac and Frank. Whenever I can I need to swap the front-right fork out and put the used(slightly) belt on the XB9 so I can use it on my census routes. |

Roger that Steve. Liking it so far, don't need to take the car to get beer anymore - A 12 pack of Henry Weinhards fits nicely in the top-box. Thanks for everything Frank, especially your patience with me... Zack |

Now that you have a Uly you will have to drink with your pinky out. It is a very civilized ride. I am going to try and get the 1125R up for the first service, wiring harness deal as well as the CEL. I plan on just dropping it off since I have to split next week to go to the S2 Gathering in Leakey TX and the week after that the Lake City Buell ride. I always hate rushing a service. Steve, I though you and Troy deployed already.... Are you two going at the same time? If you or Troy need anything while you are deployed just let us know. |

I cleaned it a little, and Wow, it's blue, just like The Beast... |

Frank...it is just me going this time, Troy will probably be going in a year or so. I just finish prepping the Uly for one last trip prior to the deployment. I'm leaving Saturday and heading to NJ to leave the bike with my brother for the next year. Going to do 2000 miles in three days! Zack: I picked up those parts you ordered for a couple weeks ago...and they tried to give me that accessory plug that I ordered to replace the one you gave me. I left it there for you to pick up. |

Steve, have a safe trip. 2000 miles in three days is very aggressive but I know you can do it. Be safe.. Zac, the part number it need you to check is L0503.T. It is a washer that was supposed to be in the new front isolator kit for the tubers. I got four isolators so I need four of that washer or at least the dimensions so I can get one from a HW store. This is NOT HCHD's fault since many of them have been coming without the washer. I need it before I head to the S2 Gathering... |

Steve - I picked it up today, thanks, I forgot about it. Be safe out there, I will have lots of Uly questions for you when you get back. Frank, I think I'll call Al in the morning and talk to him about the snubber. Z |

FYI: This weekend in Canon City the Colorado Hill Climb Association is hosting a race event on Temple Canyon Road. The cost for one day only is $10.00 or all weekend for $12.00. I went by the campground a few minutes ago and there will be a lot of contestants, though no motorcycle entries. This is one of about 4 hill climb events other than the big daddy Pikes Peak race. Many of the folks that run this weekend will end up running at Pikes Peak in June, though. I plan to go tomorrow morning for maybe 4 hours, then I have to leave and work for Uncle Sam some more. |

Hm. Would consider going, but tomorrow's weather is a bit nippy and I'm tired of that. So I'm thinking of trying out my new smoker instead. Sunday though looks to be awesome for riding. |

I had a nice visit at HCHD. I tell you, I think their "sell your own bike" deal is going to take off. As always Dave and Bones were very busy while Zac was looking for something to do. LOL I talked to a couple of Buellers on XBs and 1125s. The 1125r is in for her first service, wiring harness and CEL fix before it gets taken to WI to its new owner. The owner came out to chat with me. I do not think he remembers my name (I do not remember his either) but he does remember my day as a salesman selling Buells. |

I think, and you should contact Jammer for the real info. is you bring your bike to HCHD, put a sign on it and they can arrange financing for anyone that wants to buy it. I did not sell my bike that way, mine is going to a Buell enthusiast in NY... Frank |

So Frank, is your bike going to NY or WI? I'm confused as you have it posted as both. So with the 1125 being gone, are you just down to your tubers now? Is Lynn keeping her XB? I was hoping we would get a chance to ride together sometime this summer on the Buells. My 1125 is still at the shop. Waiting for the clutch cover which is back ordered until mid June. We're going to have them fix what they can and we were told it may be ready mid week. I'm anxious to get back on the 1125. We're going to try and get out for a short ride today. Then come home and start prepping the toy hauler for our, hope to be soon, dirt biking weekend. (John are you out there ) Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there. |

We got out for a nice ride and now Lynn is washing her bikes. Julie, she is keeping the XB and the Sporty.... We stopped at another pair of Buellers house (I had to drop off a part for Scott's S1). Scott rides a EGlide and a 96 S1 and Susan rides a XB12... I wish I could get them to get on this site but they are very busy people. Pictures later.. Frank |

Well, I got a nice scene on the way home (not riding due to a very bad cold). Got to see a car cut off 2 bikes right in front of me. The guy who went down got a compound fracture on his leg, but otherwise was ok (thank God considering there was no helmet). I got the cars license plate number and gave it to the police as well as put it in my statement. |
