So i bought a Tail chop mod. Which despite hours of effort i am having a problem installing.

Among other issues here is the current dilemma there are 6 bolts/screws that hold the piece on two through the bottom and 4 in the frame arms. The two on the bottom are fine. Three of the 4 on the side are fine. However one no matter how hard i push pull beg or swear wont go in straight. I have countered this by buying a new screw albeit longer and adding washers. ti still goes in crooked but it is now very tight. What should i do? Should i leave it as is or just return the part and say screw it. I want to keep it i just want to know if you all think it will hold?
