Uh....... Can we say that young Nicky-(Cody) Hayden-(Wood) Kick some Major ASS!!!!!!!!!!this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know what happend to cody but lets just say that the Boy shifted about 3 more gears and is in a league of his own. There was no chance of anyone catching him even after a bad crash in the first or second lap of the finall. They had a restart where Cody had to start in back of his field. Three turns later cody passed them all and .............checked the fu%^ OUT!!! The end of the race found Cody more than half a lap up on his class while lapping other riders. Cody Wood isn't a Rider, he's a Pilot and his rides a Rocket ship!!! Congrats to you Cody!!! Uncle Bob |

You can view all the pictures from this race weekend at: http://www.pbase.com/framerpdx/mcminnville_3-28-04&page=all This is my personal favorite from the weekend. http://www.pbase.com/image/27393910 I asked Cody what happened? You are racing so much faster (he is on a 4.2 hp bike and is just 3 seconds off the fastest adult lap who is on a 10 hp bike) and he said, "Mom - I got my knee down on the pavement coming out of the corner and it was so cool!" I personally think it is in the gene pool Kimberlie |

Anyone ever suggested we take notes at the meetings and then post the notes here? I was unable to get to the meeting but would have liked to know that people where planning on doing a ride. |

Rose City 250 Sunday. Meet before hand in the Wickes parking lot across the street from the Honda shop. Gonna be a beautiful day. I think it costs $15 at the door. S1Hooligan, did you check the Sunset Thunder Club's Website? I'm sure the Vice Director, Spudman probably posted a blow-by-blow. maybe |

I need a volunteer to help me with my clutch. I usually have my soon to be father in law help me, since I don't know chit about it and would rather not screw something up in the first year I have the bike, anyways, I have to get the clutch in today or tomorrow, or I can't do the Rose City 250 with you guys and galls. I was wanting to make every single ride STC does but for sure wanted to hit the big ones. I would just have that buddy of mine do the work, but he doesn't have any time to do it before sunday. The bike is located out in mollala though which sucks. If someone is willing I would pick ya up, feed ya, give ya beer, or whatever you are into, and make sure you got home after. |

Well, as it turns out I won't be able to ride Sunday. PSYCH! Sorry. Looks like I have to get in and get some wiring done on the new place before the drywall goes on. Damn. But Saturday is looking great for just getting some riding in! edited by greeneric on April 02, 2004 |

Greeneric- Mike and I are planning on riding on Saturday, destination and time is not known yet. We have a baby sitter and are ready to roll. I need to get that back tire scrubbed in a little bit more, thanks to Mike and Deb it already has a good start! Yeah that's right those two bad ass riders got out on Monday and road up around St. Helens - Deb road the Daytona for a little bit too! That night Deb & I road to dinner while Mike stayed home with the boys. I road the Daytona - glad to report no tip overs (Doesn't even have frame slider yet - do you think Mike was chewing on his nails?) Anyway - back to work, but looking forward to logging some miles tomorrow. Kimberlie |

S1H - I can help you next week. If you get stuck while working on it yourself you can give me a call and I will try to talk you through it. If doing it yourself you might want to make a cardboard drawing of the primary cover, poke holes in it where each retaining screw goes, and then put each screw in the correct hole to keep them organized - they are different lengths. I also think I needed to file down a standard screwdriver to use it with the clutch spring compressing tool. It needs to be a stout driver, but thin enough at the shoulders to fit into the hole to use the tool. You just might want to have a file or grinder on hand. Some grease can be used to hold the primary drive gasket in place while you are putting the cover back on. edited by roc on April 03, 2004 |

Thanks for the offer Roc, but I tore into it yesterday and it wasnt to bad, untill we got inside...looks like the spring plate blew up and started trashing stuff. So now there is a slight groove on the basket. How much will this affect it? I am going to price out a new one right now..also it sucks that the clutch kit I bought didnt come with the spring plate, so I have to get that now...looks like I will not be riding the rose city 250

Lo- so good to see you typing away! Have you and Don been able to ride much lately. The weather was beautiful today so Mike, Eric and myself headed out for a little ride. I ended up putting on close to 250 today - man is the butt ever sore. How is Eva doing? Any motorcycle adventures for her lately? Look forward to seeing you guys soon, SPLASH is only 2+ months away. |
