yes,i did that last night and was able to fetch my program from the ecm,it did not ask where to put it,them i think i just re loaded back on.i think the biggest problem is getting the race program in the right place,it seems stuck there? i will give yools post a shot tonight, then i need to return the lap top and find professional help! |

its all screwed up now. it pops skips, backfires and stalls. i give up,i do not know anything about computers and no one i know does either. i have to find a way of getting it to the dealer and coming up with the $ to fix it. does anyone know what it cost to have it programed by the dealer? they just tell me the hour rates..i need a cost before i can have it hauled all the way there. chevnut55, is there anyone in your area that is familiar with ecmSpy? It sounds like you just need to reload the basic ECM program back into your ECM. you should have saved it onto your hard drive or onto a thumb drive. If you need a copy of a stock XB12 ECM fuel map, I can send you a copy of mine... |
