2008 1125R parts manual on the way. In the mean time, need part number for 2008 1125R oxygen sensors. Need the one with the longer leads (rear, I think). Thanks

Below is 2009 #, they are both listed as front, 2x quantity
I know it's not 2008 but it would be nice to see if there was a difference

The only oxygen sensor p/n I can find is P0277.5AA ... no difference in wire leads.

Another poster had indicated a difference in lead length and that 'longer' lead was needed to adapt to EBR race exhaust relocated sensor bung. No big deal as I can always splice and lengthen if need be. I apologize as I have not torn machine down yet to check - I like to have all my parts ready BEFORE tear down, although it always seems Murphy dictates that I am missing something (or break something I have no spare for).

Just found on:
http://speedsupplies.com/partslisting.asp?position =335&increment=500&category=HD

part P0277.5AA as O2 sensor front or only
part P0277.1AM as O2 sensor, rear

Hmmmmm.

Turns out, there ARE two different O2 sensors on the 2008 model, and they DO have different lead lengths. The longer rear cylinder lead (P0277.1AM) helps when installing the EBR race exhaust. Buell probably changed in 2009 to reduce inventory and production costs. Lesson learned - BadWeb information is often useful, but do you own research and confirm what you are told. "Trust but Verify"
