Author Message   Whippetlovr Posted on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 - 08:46 am:        I don't know why I can't find the height of the bike anywhere online in specs or anything... does anyone know what the height of the 1125R is? Going to pick mine up in 4 days, and debating on whether to trailer it (and pay $$$ extra for gas) or put it in the back of the truck... want to determine if it will be higher than the cab of the truck or not. I have a Dodge Ram and from the bed to the top of the cab is like 41" and the 1125 is somewhere around 45". So it will be above the cab ...obviously. I don't want it sticking up past the cab in case (off chance) a rock or something flies past and hits it on the way home (very long drive to pick it up)... I want to get it home as clean as possible. I can't ride it home because 1- its a 13 hour ride and 2- I'm buying it in another province so can't register it till I get it home.   D_adams Posted on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 - 11:25 am:        The upper fairing will be above the cab, about from the tip of the windscreen up, maybe a little more. Make sure to use at least 4 straps, not just 2 for a longer trip.   Spank Posted on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 - 11:38 am:        Not that it's a good idea, but I have always only used two... but then again I can close the tailgate tight to the rear tire.
