I ordered the denoid resistor from the closest Buell dealership several weeks ago. I called earlier this week and they said that the part was on backorder but was supposed to be in some time later this week. Today they called and said that the backorder delivery date has changed to mid-April. Does anyone know anywhere that has the Y0248.1AM resistor in stock? I see that American Sportbike has it listed on their website (don't know if it's in stock or not though) but they have a $20 minimum order and there's no other little small stuff that I need or want in order to meet that minimum. Thanks! |

just unhook the cable from the throttle but leave the noid wires connected till the resister shows up. at least that way it wont screw with the throttle and wont throw a code. |

Pretty sure they have a few at Tampa HD. 813-886-7433. Make sure you don't take last one cuz they're supposed to be holding one for me!! Quoted 6 bucks I think Tom |

Josh, I already completely removed the noid--didn't feel like having to go in there again to remove it after disconnecting it. I of course do have the CEL but I'll clear that after I get the resistor. Tommy, I'll give Tampa HD a call. Thanks! <edit> They have two left. They're checking to see how much it would be to ship. I got mine from AL @ American Sport Bike - fast shipping and great service. http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/18022.html Much better than my local HD stealership... |

American Sport Bike is out right now. I ordered one a few days ago and got an email saying they were backordered. |

Syonyk - bummer. They're usually really good about not showing them if they aren't currently in stock (or expected). My biggest kudos was just for good communication... pretty rare now-a-days it seems. I spoke with Al's wife for 20min about random stuff and she was really helpful. That's worth buying from them again IMO. anyway - unrelated sorry. GL finding yours! |

I ordered it and the K&N filter from American Sport Bike a couple days ago. I got the same email about the resistor being backordered... |

Got mine ordered from Tampa HD, which means one left. Hopefully they've still got one earmarked for you, Tommy. And thanks again for the referral! |

We have plenty on backorder, but none in stock. HD is out of them at present, but the release date wasn't too far out. Our web site and inventory/billing/shipping systems are completely detached. The web site never knows what is in stock and isn't, it is a web ordering tool only. But it will rarely be more than a workday, and usually much less, that you'll get a personal mail advising of order status. And of course, we never charge until we ship, so you can always cancel if you find something elsewhere. al |

You can always make one. It's just a 120 ohm resister I believe. |
