Socalmoe, Once upon a time were you stuck in traffic on the 91east by the toll booth and see a black CR waiting in the shoulder of the toll lane? by Weir Canyon exit? |

I get more attention on my flat black 1125r with D&D than on any other bike I've owned or ridden, and that beats out all the custom choppers and Harley's I've ridden or had. No matter what type of dealership I go to or cycle sports shop I always get awesome compliments and a ton of questions. |

About once a month or so, someone will pull up next to me at a light and say stuff like "what is that? How big is it? and that's sick", mostly wannabe's, but a few other riders - this is for the XB12 (which snorts and rumbles nicely with race exhaust). On the other hand, the 1125R gets dealership and "peer" attention. Golden Spike HD did recent safety inspection for me - three of their shop guys came out and wanted to do a test ride: I said sure, give me your keys.... |

Froggy, my friends and I discussed putting a sweeping red led in the front headlight the night I got the bike, heheh. |

Jeepinbueller; I just looked at your profile and could have guessed, a writer. You got me with "you know the grin that you can see even with a full-face helmet on". The outside of the eyes wrinkling a bit? Nice work. |

I was in town over the weekend buzzin around. I'm going through the parking lot by TJ Max and this mother and son (he was about 4 or 5) walk up to the cross walk. I stop to let them cross, but the kid is terrified to cross in front of me (on my 1125r). His mother gives me this goofy grin, of course I am chuckling. Then she tugs on the kids arm to get him cross and he takes off running in the opposite direction of me and the bike. By now I am laughing my arse off. She finally ropes him in and coaxes him across the crosswalk, all the while he is staring at the 1125r with this terrified look on his face. She smiled at me and I did the same. A priceless encounter, would have made a good youtube video. |
