LOL OMG i remember those! Well I did a few different ones. The above that I have no more pics of and I think that was a half assed mock up. That ended up looking like this... It was a simple threaded rod inbetwen the two lights and allen screws holding the outside to stock mounts These were just Autozone specials with a similar mount in a V-Rod head light mount, mounted to the lower clamp to look like a fork coming out of the bike. This is a very simple mount I made using tube stock and flat bar welded together and mounted to the top clamp... |

yep, it's an MT-03 headlight. bought the set in Germany from www.speed-of-color.de . Real easy to install : came with all the clamps and brackets and the electrics is almost plug and play. Think it's cheaper to buy the headlight at a local Yamaha dealership and maybe you can get the brackets there also, or make your own. the clips depands on what fork you've got, i've got a X1 fork so thats 54mm diam. i believe. painted the brackets and triple tree black now so it give's it a cleaner look. |

I went with a used an XB Flyscreen. Had to make custom brackets out of flat stock for the screen. I think I have less than $250 n the whole job, including the new duel headlights, new chrome headlight brackets. Not including the paint.

That is one sweet looking X1! Although I would hate to come across it on a sunny day without Shades! |
