I dropped off my bike to have the charging harness recall done, and while it was there I had them check on a slow leak on the rear. After replacing the tire and the valve stem it is still leaking. So, I get a brand new wheel. Now if this could only happen every 1000 or so, I will save alot on tires.
Has anyone heard of this problem before? I did a search and got nothing.

My front wheel has always leaked pressure despite several tire changes with new stems. No new wheel for me though. Not sure why that happens. Porous metal in the casting?

You may want to see your dealer about a replacement. Seems like they shouldn't have an issue with giving it to you.

My rear tire has been leaking 2 lbs per day since the bike was new. Found a 6 inch
strip along the rim & tire leaking. HD of Baltimore ordered a new tire 3/11/10.
I used snoop as my leak detector.

For schizzle? Did you see the smoke leaking out or just smell it?
