So, I am taking my 1125cr to the dealership for the first time tommorow and it seems that they really don't know a whole lot about flashing the ecm fuel mapping. I was wondering if anyone could sequentially list the flash versions so I can work with them to see which version I have and make sure I get the latest. |

Maybe I should specify that they know about it, they just said that mine probably already has the latest version. I told them that I didn't think so because of it showing symptoms of the older flashes... Anyway, anyone know those version numbers? |

Sin- I just went through what you have to do just the other day. It was my 620 check up too. Just ask the service rep. to check and see if the bike has the latest flash. I didn't get an actual print out on it, but it did say on the receipt that it was up graded to the latest flash. They dont know about the name or number of the flash since the bike is hooked up to a computer and it goes to a main frame somewhere in MI. Any updates that are needed are booted up to your bike. Atleast thats the way it happened to me. |

What Otto says is true....but, *if* the tech is paying attention, before he/she logs out of the update screen on Digital Tech, there is a button they can push. It says "Print Receipt". (or "give printout", or something similar and equally obvious) The receipt shows what flash the bike started the process with, and what flash it finished with. It also lists day/date/time, VIN, Make/model, and I think dealership name. If you want your printout, ASK NICELY at the desk when the service writer writes you up, and NICELY ask them to WRITE IT ON THE WORK ORDER. That way, they don't have to remember to ask the technician when they're doing the flash - it's right there in front of them in black and white. It's literally pushing one button on a touch-screen...but most folks don't ask for the printout so most techs don't even think twice about it. the guys where I used to work got so used to dealing with me, though, that HD customers started asking "what's this printout with my receipt?" LOL |

-RAT Thanks for the info., I'll try that next time I'm in there. The receipt said latest calibration has been updated, but I will go back for the print out, just for my records. THNK |

The printout canNOT be generated once they exit the Digital Tech and unhook your bike, sorry. It's not stored in memory or anything like that, which is why I make such a point to ask for it UP FRONT. |
