I need some advice on repairing or at least hiding a dent I inflicted on the frame of my Lightning. It's not severe, just noticeable and ugly. Maybe just hide it with some Trojan frame sliders? Where can I get those? Maybe some filler such as All-Metal and re-spray the frame? Is it painted or is it powder coated? Any suggestions? |

You can patch it with bondo and prime/paint just like any other repair. |

I would go with the CF frame sliders. Would those break it it takes another shot to the same place? They wouldn't have support right behind that spot... |

I used some stuff called chemical-metal to repair my frame, when it got dented, then ordered 2tins of XB silver from Buell (approx £11GBP a tin) and sprayed the whole side of the frame from the top headstock weld to the footpeg hanger,so it would blend in. |

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm leaning toward filling and painting. There's some other touch up that needs to be done so it makes the most sense. I got one suggestion from a friend-leave the damage and use a paint marker to date it, and just collect more?! |
