Could somebody help me make sense of this: our Blast's turn signals, horn, and brake lights don't work. Headlight works, hi/low beam switch works, flash-to-pass switch works, running light works. All fuses are good. I've double-checked all connections. WTF? |

Hey, Ed. Been a while. Would the flasher affect the horn and brake lights? |

If I get it figured out before you do, I'll let you know what I find. Maybe I'll pull the flasher from the Firebolt and see if that makes a difference. |

Inspired by the fact that I am not the only one with this problem, I dug into the Blast and found that HD PN 31504-91B (Starter and rear light relay) has the potential to be the problem. On the Blast it is to the RHS of the battery (facing forward) I have yet to see if it's the relay itself, or if it's the wiring to/from the relay. The part can be purchased for about $11.00. I'm gonna buy one/order one this w/e. When it arrives I'll try it and see if it solves the problem. Lack of power to the back/brake light + all turn signals indicates a breakdown in the power supply to the brake/turn signal sub-harness. See what you think and let me know. Later, Chris C |
