I just got done riding the twisties. I take a left corner and hear something that sounds like it's dragging. I look down and my kickstand is smacking the pavement. Somewhere I had lost the whole kickstand spring assembly. I don't know how or why but just letting ya'll know and to check them. FYI no one stocks the parts so now I have to wait a week. | ||

If you're in a hurry to get the parts, a decent sized Ace Hardware has all sorts of springs in various different weights and sizes. You should be able to find an interim solution if needed. | ||

Was the recall done? That was a known recall issue with some bikes (the kickstand spring). | ||

The spring "hook" breaks, and the whole assembly including linkage falls off. I ran safety wire through mine I broke so many springs so I'd quit loosing the linkage. |
