Good Morning all,

Shred did go last night and he said there were a ton of people. He said it was like the Vortex on Thursdays. Apparently they were thinking about doing 'something' there on Tuesday nights like they do at the Vortex. So we'll see what comes of that.

Only got to talk to him for a second and didn't get to ask how the stunt riding was. My phone was dying but it sounded really crazy down there to say the least.

Shred's buddy Shannon has two of those.
We've been trying to borrow them for some fun in my favorite parking lot.
I rode one of his once, very, very, fun, and tricky, takes some getting used to being one something that tiny.

I've got a video of two guys goin' down Deals Gap on pocket bikes at the house.
I can see already I need to set up my FTP server again.

They race the little bikes that Black sunshine is talking about at Sunshine's motorcycle behind the Rain Forest Mini golf place on East Park Place. They race the first and third saturday of every month. I'ts interesting to watch to say the least.

I'll see if can contact someone who races down there and try to get them involved at our up-and-coming "Sportbike Enthusiasts Day" event. Winner gets a gift certificate or something. Us 3%ers would need to participate working corners and such.

We should make a point of riding down to Sunshine to watch a race and get some promotional photos.

I will hit the dealership up for the opportunity to hold this event and any possible sponsorship today. I think it will go over well with them. We have to make sure the event is one to remember. The trick is getting Metro-Atlantan sport enthusiasts to come to an H-D dealership to have fun. It sounds like an oxymoron... H-D Sportbike fun.

Silvermullet: Do you know any of the guys who race the pocket bikes?

Stealth: It could be worked out to hold it there on the range. It would be better if we thought we could do it at the main building though. It would be easier to keep a "buzz" in the air if all the stuff was going on in one area. Granite Mountain has a great parking lot...but, I'd rather do it at SMH-D/Buell. The Dyno is not portable.

Glitch: I'll hold one for you. Ask the fella you know if they'd interested in the stuff we're talkin' about here... and if there is a chat forum where local guys get it together.

Torquer: I'll talk with a friend of mine that has a mini cruiser (looks like a soft tail). He has some friends that race there. One of the guys and his son have 2 electric and 2 or 3 gas powered pocket bikes.

Glitch: These are exactly what I needed. When you do talk with him though, ask him if he had to do any special wiring specifically for the headlights,that is the only thing I may have an issue with. I'm going to get started on it as soon as the parts come in.
