The tenth would be good for me to. Hopefully we can all hook up and go. I've never been but from what I've seen it looks cool. By the way, that new 3% design looks killer. It would probably look better on than the other one I said we should use. Have you heard or seen any other thoughts on your idea for the ignition cover. I'm going to try and engrave a piece of stop sign with my metal engraver to see how it works. I've used it before on some of my tools but it is hard to control on the hard steel. maybe the soft sign alloy will work better, I'll let you know |

I could use some aluminum, thanks. I engraved the last logo Glitch posted and it isn't that bad looking. It did take awhile but I'm going to put it on my bike to see what it looks like. I think that if I do another one I'm going to paint it black first and then engrave it. I'll post some pictures as soon as I get a Flash Card for my camera. |

I've had the 8th and the 9th off, but I go on call the 10th. So my plans for a birthday on Deals Gap are shot Maybe it's a good thing, as my tires are gone. I'm afraid that they wouldn't last long on some good roads, or should I say I wouldn't last long on some good roads S2PENGY, I haven't forgot about the alloy, I just haven't had time to do anything with what I have. I did get a chance to try my engraving tool out and it works pretty good on the soft metals. Anybody have a holesaw or something to cut out a good round circle with? I used a die grinder to cut out the ignition cover with and it is almost impossible to get it nice and round. What day are we all meeting? Is it the 14th? |

Good luck Glitch I'm going to try and get to the dyno soon. My wife bought an XB12 airbox lid for my birthday. My bike is bone stock so I want some numbers before I start any mods |

I'm so proud My oldest little girl, Tayler, has a project they are doing in Girl Scouts. They are making shirts with bears on them, as the name of their camping group is called "The Care Bears". Each girl has to come up with their own bear name (ex.Big Bear, Cute Bear etc.) My baby girl came up with "Buell Bear" All on her own! I will try to get some pics. as soon as I get some} |

Glitch, I just had my TPS reset saturday. I took it to Frazier's and the tech asked me if I wanted him to check the timing as well. I said "sure". Then I started to wonder how much that was going to be. I walked out the door for a grand total of $31.83. Plus a guy let me take his 1200 Roadster with the Screaming Eagle kit for a spin. I only spent about an hour there to! |

What does 3% stand for? |

Buell is about 3% of Harley Sales. Biggin, next Monday we got to give 'em hell about bein' able to go to Earl's, get the job done, and get back home, before SMHD can even get us an appointment. Hell they've even got a discount program over there... |

Yeah, don't ride up to SMHD and expect to have someone look at your bike that day. They'll want you to leave it or make an appointment. You would think if they're that busy maybe it's time to hire some more mechs. I wonder how much a digital technician for xb's costs. If we all throw in a couple bucks each week we could have our own and wouldn't need the dealership for anything but a meeting place. Their has to be a way to do a tps reset without the digital tech. The digital tech gives you a degree window to be in tolerance with. If I could just figure out how much voltage to read off of the sensor at those prescribed degree marks then all you would need are some jumper wires and a voltmeter. I'll find out who produces the digital tech, call them, and see if they can give me any info. It's a long shot but that would be da shiznit. |
