Avc, correct. Overall the relay placement on the outside of the frame is the better way to do it but that also meant the tailsection bodywork had to come off and thus more cost having to do with the time it took for the dealers to do the job. With the cali can absent there is room for the relay to route on the inside of the frame next to the battery. Both places are perfectly adequate but having it outside the frame keeps it out of the way and unseen. It was finally decided that since the majority of bikes were non-cali that all non-cali bikes would have the relay placed inside since it fit and would save on time paid to the dealers to do the job. It's always about the Benjamins. |

That is fine. The less ANY dealer has to touch my bike the happier I am. I could always move the relay outside the frame if I wanted to. ac |

Here's some harness pics of my 08' non-cali, just happens my harness came shipped with a new 10' motor. The harness came in it's own bag on the left side of the bench.

Props to Tibman for the photo-essay! I have already had the wiring harness upgrade done and am taking it back next week for the cali can & clutch leak. I guess they will need to re-route some of the harness to install the cali can properly? |

Sounds like I'm Going down to American Sportbike this weekend. Do they have a showroom where you can walk in and buy parts? or is it online only? |

Its in Vista. Very Small Shop in a nice area. Its past Fallbrook. Escondito/San Marcos area Ca-78. As a matter of fact just ordered rear brake pads (ebc) for $30 something and a couple spark plugs UPS should be there when I get home. He mainly is an online store but I stopped by once to see where he was at. Will called my 2010 Led brake light and front pads still have not put those on yet cause I still have good meat on them.
