not sure what you got but remember LED's need the correct polarity, pos to pos and neg to neg, not like a normal lightbulb | ||

ya i figured it out. the set i got had ez connectors so you just clamp the wires in. i left one open so it was making a complete circut. i finish tomorrow they will through up some pics | ||

Just ignore some of these guys I no what u mean we can't all afford top customizing parts. Your riding that's what's important. As far as the lights, not my thing but to each his own | ||

Sorry, but theres no "cool" way of doing neon lights. Theyre cheesy no matter how you do it.....If you like them, then more power to ya, I just personally wouldnt let a box of those lights get within 20 feet of my bike. | ||

now the photo quality sucks but u get an a for effort and an A+ cuz u figured out how to post them on here!!!! lol something i havent figured out still in over 2 years! as for whatwas said above. in most cases i agree! butttttt there have been a few cases where it looks cool. there was one guy on here where he put them IN his pod and it looked pretty sick just seeing the glowing and not seeing the light itself. he also had one in another spot i believe and i thought it looked cool. but there kinda pointless cuz there illegal here in ohio anyways. if you are riding with a red or blue light on (car or bike) you can get a ticket.. esp if they are flashing ones.. i know a few friends that got tickets years back when they had the fast and furious AKA rice lights under there cars | ||

I installed mine led strip lights about 3-4 weeks ago. ONLY reason I did is for the other cars around here. They do not pay attention to bikes and I've noticed the 3 days I've been out since, cars stay further away and tend to notice me. Not looking to feel like a biker boyz movie, just safety. | ||

I've ordered some 30cm SMT LED strips off eBay. I think I'll put them inside the pods and wire them up to the fans so they'll light up when the fans are running.. It'll also help me see my way out of the garage in the dark and just turn off when the fans do I ordered white as the police have issues with other colours (especially with forward facing lights). 5 strips was about $20 so I think 2 per pod and maybe one under the headlight | ||

When I got my first Buell I put a pair of strobes behind the little mesh inserts on the tail piece (X-1). Police don't like those either, but I did get cars to pull out of the fast lane as I zoomed up on them  And I mounted some little driving lights in the front that had circular neon things in them that glow green. Mainly for posing with hot chicks n stuff in the parking lots on Friday Night. But they all eventually stopped working and I ditched them. And I took the lights off too.
