Screw it... she aint for sale I purchased this Buell at a local dealer in Dallas, TX and it has had its first service at 600 miles. It currently has 710 miles on the ODO. All of the miles were local with the exception of putting it on a trailer to MO for Christmas last year to run the back country roller coaster roads they have. I am pretty well a Buell nut and this is my 6th bike by Erik Buell. The display stand and panels were purchased from the same dealer as the bike, about 4 months after I picked up the CR. I have been using them in the garage to show the bike since. Actually, the bike was purchased to display only, as it was the last model Buell Motorcycle Company would ever produce, but the dagone bike kept calling me to ride it, thus the 700+ miles on it. The reason for putting the bike up for sale is pretty simple for me… apparently, I can’t buy a bike to display and not ride and although I ride a lot of different bikes, this particular Buell doesn’t fit me very well. I have decided to put the 1125CR up for sale and replace it with another Buell, a (Ulysses). Note: The display stand allows you to lean the bike over on the hard mount point welded to the base plate. The mounts will pass through the axle bolts and the neck of the bike will rest on the tall riser. I was never confident that I could get the bike on the stand by myself, so I never used the base plate. Also the bike is pictured with Ulysses foot pegs on the bike. I have the original 1125CR foot pegs that were removed at the time of purchase as well. Lastly, the bike is currently financed through Harley-Davidson Financial Services. This means there will be a short wait on the title after the payment is received. This bike is listed on ebay too. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me by email and I will respond quickly. micah_wright@yahoo.com 214.384.1876 Web Slide Show of the bike. http://img717.imageshack.us/slideshow/webplayer.ph p?id=buell1125cr6.jpg (Message edited by slowride on March 03, 2010) (Message edited by slowride on March 08, 2010) |

Xb9er, That was what I was thinking when I saw it in the dealership... Oddball, Thanks, the CR's really look mean from the front... Fristbuell, Good questions, I have never seen another one like it... Nevrenuf, Thanks for the interest, there have been only two types of Buells that ever "fit" me. The X1 and the Ulysses. |
