I wrote a real nice post yesterday but I erased it during preview so I'm at it again.

"CAN ONE MAKE A SECOND FIRST IMPRESSION"

After a loong winter in Wisconsin,we finally had two great riding days back-to-back. So with my S3T charged up,bolts tightened, tires aired ,lights checked, etc. (T-CLOCK) I was ready to ride.
Just like last year when I first bought the bike I was impressed.I have had several new bikes and some new-to-me bikes but never one that impresses like this every ride. The warm up is long and the vibration makes my mirrors almost unreadable. But the handling and performance will make a Buell- Believer out of anyone.
I know I'm preaching to the choir mostly (if Buelligans can be called a choir)but for all other riders who peruse this site ,I say to get your hands on a Buell to see what we all mean. Be it Old School, X-Files or Thumpers, you will see what Fury Erik has wrought. This bike has more than doubled whatever skills I came with and taught me several definitions of performance.
Do I like my Buell? Do I like my Buell.

P.S. Thank you to my wife Amy for helping me choose this S3T over a standard 883.I would have been happy in that saddle too but oh what I would have missed.

If you think you like it now, just wait a few more months. You won't believe how much fun it's going to be.

I had kinda lost the excitment over my Y2K MaDeuece . . . . nothing wrong with it, mind you, just some of the new worn off, if you take my meaning . . . . most of my riding was commuting last summer (graduating my daughter from High School and getting her into college turned into a full time job), and things were kinda ho-hum

then, within the space of about a month, I attened another track day, and my buddy and I went down to Deal's Gap . . . that first impression came back, BIG TIME!

nothing like exploding off an apex to put a grin on yer face

Hey One -- I spend some time up at Uke's, and there's a buncha folks from SE Wis & NE Ill that ride together . .. .give us a holler

Of course we are a choir. Haven't you ever heard of "choir practice"? As I have told others who don't understand that there is more to a sportbike then going fast, Buells are simply fun. I see a lot of people on their bikes not seeming to really be enjoying the ride. Whats the point then?

One,

Are those the deep bags on your S3T?
