I have an X1 and thinking of adding handlebar risers. Anyone have any input as to how high i can raise them without interfering with cable/wire lengths? thanks |

I switched to S3 or blast handlebars. Perfect height for me and work with stock cables, just had to snip a few wireties to get a little more room. Handlebars were cheap too. |

american sport bike sells 1" risers, I run these with vintage mx bars narrowed 1", not for everyone but works well for me, the bars have a 5" rise and with the 1" risers are the limit for stock hoses, cables and wires |

I was planning on precision engineering FAT BAR risers to allow the use of 1 1/8 renthal bars. I just need as much height as possible to clean my XB forks. I was planning on the RC Mini bars from what i have gathered are very similar is all dimensions to my city X bars and factory X1 bars. I was just not sure how high i co go before it messes all my cables up. Another option i was thinking was using high rise clip-ons and attach them ontop of my triple trees to the XB forks sticking above. (Message edited by purpony on March 09, 2010) |
