Blaming the seller is wrong. Clearly, it is the market at work. It is worth the $375 its currently going for though. (Message edited by froggy on February 22, 2010) |

I don't see how the seller is at fault. There are 10+ bids. I may sell my 2 with prices like that! I could get custom seats and put $200 in my pocket. ac |

You'd really hate me I sold a used race muffler for 600, it paid for my new goalie pads. Tried to sell it here first for less, but no takers... |

Spiderman, I did the same thing. Tried to sell a race muffler here for $100. No one bit. I spent $6 on a can of BBQ paint and sold it for close to $400 on ebay. ac |

My bad!!!!!!! I did not see the bids. OPS! I put my foot in my mouth. Not hard for me to do. Your right Froggy. That is crazy what people are paying. See froggy supply and demand. If there were 20 of those seats on e-bay they would be selling for $100. WOW! Could you emagin parting out your bike in 11 years. You could make BANK! It does go against my inner Buell pride but its so tempting when you think that because of what harley did we could all be sitting on little gold mines. |

If someone sees a touring seat for $100 or under, please let me know!! It is the only thing I have left to get for a good ride coming up in may and I don't think the couch pillow will do it for me! |

Ha, wait till you see how much I get for the brand new R fairing mount that's boxed on my shelf. In a few years, that thing will be worth it's weight in gold. ~SM |

Well, I hope my bike keeps rolling without incident (knock on wood!), because if the prices keep going up, it will be like a Mercedes. Sure, I can afford to buy one...but can't afford the upkeep!! Hell, that's part of the reason I sold my Aprilia! $190 f0r stock front pads!! |

You can get a Corbin, custom made to your specs for less than that. And the Corbin in a nicer seat. I know, I just ordered one. |

Nice is assuming it fits, and wasn't built half assed like the majority of their seats as a late. |

I've never heard of a Corbin not fitting. My last Corbin (used on an XB9X and later an XB9SX) fit better than the stocker. |

eBay is an auction. The item goes for what ever the highest bidder will pay. I LOVE eBay...especially when I sell something that goes for an astronomical price! |

I really had to slot the mounting holes on the Corbin seat that I bought for my Firebolt. The seat feels great though. Have you seen the couches they sell? They're really cool but they're over $4000! |
