The mirrors did make everything a big blur. The image on the screen is very stable and clear. At a light during the day you can read the make of the car behind you. |

That is awesome. I just tried explaining to my wife what chitwood did to his bike like a kid that just seen a new toy in a commercial, haha. She just looked at me like i'm stupid LOL. That is really kewl though, I like the idea, So the mirror block offs are just block offs and nothing more right? Did you just re-wire the running lights or did you do other modifications? |

The block offs are pegasus I got off ebay for 35.00. I ran new wire from the turn signals to make them reach the running light location and put amber bulbs in you can get a any auto parts store. The camera system is wireless except for power I used the 12 volts from the running lights to run the monitor because it now had no use and it was keyed power. The camera in the back is powered buy the tag light that I got rid of when I installed the fender eliminator so it too was an open 12 volt keyed power. |

I think that powercommanders have a auxilary port for a camera. You also buy the lcd screen that displays your engine rpm speedometer all that stuff even the gear indicator. My friend is seriously considering it.He has a r1 and wants a gear indicator. If anyone is considering using the powercommander maybe that might be a good route to go.Just a thought?

I know the 2001 r1 mirrors bolt right up to the r fairing. So i dont see why you couldnt buy some r1 blockoffs for 10 shipped off ebay and use those.Just a thought .I will try them soon. |

Yeah I went out Saturday for a ride, it was 29 degrees (central Ohio), the bike was reading 3 degrees ambient temperature at 60mph, I thought for sure it would drop at 100 but it stayed at 3 degrees. Interesting.... |

I always dig the Orange Crush. The wheels look great too. Now strip the frame. thanks! and not a chance! ive become kind of partial to the blue! originally it was going to be silver like the 9 frames but i grew attached to the blue i threw the silver wheels on as a track set and ended up liking it alot more then i thought. so now the blue wheels have the track tires on them. Are you running a stock ECU. Any mods on that orange crush? its stock for now. havent had the money to do much to it, and then once i did i bought a cr... lol, and now back to being broke after being layed off this winter. all thats been done to it is stripping all the un needed stuff off and painting it. but that happened right when i got it. No Rice, Looks good, great pics too!!! thanks! going mudding and racing...bike sure is diverse. for sure! and they go in the ice and snow too. when im there during the winter that is |

I think the white body work would look great on a blue frame. But it looks pretty good on a black frame too |

Now that would be a thing of beauty blue frame, matching blue wheels, blue wind screen and white plastic I might look that way when I am bored with my black plastic. I think that I would have to get lots of pearl mixed into the white paint Another paint idea I had was a metalic blue base coat (similar to the 08 frame color) with candy black sprayed over it enough that it mostly looked black unless it was in the sun to make the blue base pop |
