Is there any difference in the rear suspension between 06 and 07. I have installed 07 springs in my forks and was checking the adjustment settings in the online owner's manual and found the suggested settings for the rear quite different from my 06 owner's manual.

Probably has to do with balance with the different front springs. I would just use the 07 settings on both.
