I'm going to try to get one for my '08 under warranty due to condensation (and the fact that I really want a gear indicator) |

How bout california... I've been getting the run around on my 09 CR, which seems to suffer from EVERY possible recall or annoyance (Clutch weep, Water pump fail, stalling, blinkers, Moisture in I.C) Had it for 4 months, been in my garage a grand total of 3 weeks. |

In NJ I would make like 5 grand if they don't come through with my cluster!!! They gotta give you what the msrp of the bike is and thats 12K I only paid 5K give a little for depreciation and tax and tags I will cost hd another 10K total sounds like a plan I am gonna get mine ordered in a few weeks as I get condensation too. |

I figured . . . I read some of that and was scared some poor sap would believe some of it. I recall a "buy back" once where the guy, at the same time he claimed the bike was "out of service" had racked up some serious miles. I don't recall what he statutory rate was at the time, perhaps $0.50 per mile. Anyway . . the guy'd bought the bike for like $10,000 . . and the recall was put together, they took the bike and handed him a check for like $2,300 and he was stunned. It's always good to understand the rules, they are different in the each of the states that have motorcycle lemon laws. Be mindful that 28 of the 50 states HAVE NO motorcycle lemon laws so be guided accordingly. I've spent 23 years solving problems with motorcycles and I have yet to see a lemon law case where the owner is happy in the end. To get to that point you have to pass about 6 great ways to resolve the problem. |
