..Anyone have any first hand experience of this exhaust on the Firebolt? It is available now in UK at a reasonable price. Are Wileyco any good, worth buying? Thanks in advance.

I have a Wileyco pipe on my X1. I like the quality, appearance, sound, fit, and so far the durability (3000 miles). I emailed the company requesting info on where to purchase spare gaskets. They responded by mailing me (from Italy) a packet consisting of packing material, rivets and a gasket set all for no charge. I can't say enought for their customer service.

I love writing threads like this!

Not long ago I was riding my 2002 M2 and I noticed a vibration from the motor that I was not used to feeling. I pulled over and looked down to find that the front mount on the WileyCo Carbon Fiber exhaust I purchased had snapped in half. BUMMER! With the help of a muffler clamp, a piece of metal, and a spacer, I made the repairs to ride the bike home. Thinking back to when I bought the system I was told to make sure I sent in the waranty card as it was gaurantied for life. Well, I never did because I am a dumb ass at times.

I decided to drop an email to the info box at WileyCo just to see if I could purchase a new elbow so I wouldn’t have to see that unsightly muffler clamp. I explained how I never sent in the waranty info when I bought the system in 2002. I was promptly contacted by Steve from WileyCo who asked if I still had the waranty card or any of that stuff. I wrote him back that I didn’t. He asked me to send him pictures of the system on my bike. I grabbed my digital and sent them off. That day he sent me back an email saying that it would cost me about $43 to cover shipping of a complete new system from Italy. My jaw dropped! He said, “when we cover a system 100%, we mean it!”

To anyone who is considering buying an aftermarket exhaust for their bike, tuber or XB, I HIGHLY recommend WileyCo! Not to mention how much I truly love the sound of the exhaust and get many compliments on it. This company definitely knows customer service.
