SoCal rocks! Had a great day on Saturday with a couple of friends... we saw a bunch of Buell riders go up Palomar's East grade at around 11:00am... some photos of these guys here: http://www.rickclemson.com/PhotoSets_View_Detail.a sp?PhotoEventID=406&Rows=All Any of you Buellers on this forum? Anyway, we did Palomar and then Montezuma Valley Road and had another amazing day... weather, roads, ppl, were all great! Wavex, I don't know if those guys are here or not - I just met them Sat AM. We had a SoCal Buell Riders group ride, had breakfast at Santa Ysabel, then some of the guys headed to Palomar. oh I would have bet these guys were you from the SBR group! I get updates from SBR and will have to join you guys one day... what's the pace like when you guys go out? | ||

what's the pace like when you guys go out? Wavex, you'd have to ask Blackm2. I didn't make the start time and didn't catch up to them until the end - and that was my first ride... | ||

Hey Deuce! Glad you caught up at the end. Pace is generally, go your own pace. There are faster guys, intermediate guys, and slower riders, and we all generally know where we fit in. We've got regroup points so noone gets left behind. End of the month we will be hooking up with the north county/L.A. SCAB's and the Socal V-twin club for a Borrego ride, which should be pretty sweet. | ||

I was really looking forward to it, but didn't want you guys waiting around for the newbie. If these babies ever learn to sleep in a little, I should be able to catch almost all the rides. | ||

Thanks Blackm2! So it was you guys... I don't know if you saw me make all kinds of gestures when we passed you lol (we were going down East grade, and passed you 2-3 miles from the top... you guys were going up). Anyway, I`ll join you guys sooner or later... Like Vospertw, I have 2 young kids at home so when I ride it's usually last minute decision with a friend, but it should get better soon! |
