So while im deciding on whether an 1125r is the right choice. What is the overall opinion of passengers. Do they feel comfortable. My X-1 obviously rides pretty brutishly and I think it leaves most passengers scared.

My girlfriend said her legs felt a little cramped. Moreso than with my previous bike.. SV650, so I got Uly pegs for rider and passenger. She said it helped some.

My Gf is 5'5" and Lucky enough i got the factory rear touring pillion right after i put the bolt tail on my cityx.
we went for a 100 mile ride saturday.
Her only complaint is the pegs are kinda on the low side for her.
I didn't get my nuts crushed and the front end is more stable being leaned forward with the clip ons .
I found when going slow (i live on a dam dirt road) i start bracing and locking my elbows wich rapidly cramps my hands

I've had a few women on the back of my 1125R and they seem to find it reasonably comfortable. This is only for in town work, though - 30-40 mins at a stretch, and limited to no highway speed work.

My wife thought the pegs were a bit too high (and she's only 5' 1") plus the seat is a bit hard. It's a bit less comfortable than my old TLS.

I think I'll buy a spare set of seats and have them reprofiled different density foam added.. That and some lower pegs should make a big difference.

haven't had a chance to have the lady on it yet this year, much to many rocks out there still for me to have to worry about unpredicted movements of a passanger.

last season she complained that her knees cramped up so this year when i was bringing christine out of storage i swapped the pass peg brackets side to side, that moved them down about half an inch down and about an inch and a half forward. not alot but might be enough.

If you do this you either have to ride with the pegs flipped out all the time as they will flip forward instead of back, or do what i did and swap the pegs back to the original side so they will flip backwards again.

If this is still not enough for her I will either be getting the seat reupholstered with thicker foam or some of the drop pegs that i have seen around the internet.

My husband had an XB9R and now has the 1125R he thinks the 1125R is easier/smoother to ride with 2 people on it. I think the 1125R is so much more comfortable than the XB9R. I think the pegs are just right on the 1125R my legs used to get cramped alot on the old bike. I do have a touring pillion seat on the new bike and that is thicker than the stock seat so I do sit higher than before. I really like the 1125R better I feel safer on it. My husband and myself recommend buying the 1125R we love it and you can get a great deal on them we did. It is the Z06 of motorcycles....

My wife never complained about comfort when she rode with me...she's 5'8". However, she did just buy her first, a 2009 xb12r. Guess that pretty much covers passenger comfort for me.
