just as an interesting data point . . .. I got apost card form Lake Shore Harley/Buell a couple of days ago(I bought the MaDeuece there 4 years ago before I knew much about the dealer network). . .. . they're starting a BRAG chapter, and it was an invitation to attend the kick off meeting . . .. . . first mailing I've received from them that didn't talk about chrome or fringe . . .. . could be good, though . . .. more Braggarts in the neighborhood, yes? | ||

Bads1, I'll be around tomorrow and Sunday to ride if you want to. I've got to cut a few trees down in the morning but a ride in the afternoon would be cool. I found some fun roads way out in the county a couple of weeks ago. I also had a three hour "commute" home from work on Tuesday where I did some searching. I've actually put on another 150 miles this week and I'm think I'm starting to understand the S3T. Also, Do you think Eva would set up a demo ride on a XB for me before Tuesday's meeting, weather permitting? JT | ||

John I'll be able to ride but not much before noon anyway.Also Eva would set you up with a demo without a problem.I don't know if they have a 12R for a demo or not but I know they have 12S.You'll have to call her and ask.You might want to get there rather early then also. | ||

I'm off Tuesday so early is easy. I'll call and ask Eva monday. I'm getting out early to start on the trees anyway so I should be getting done around noon. I'm making friends with my neighbors this week ain't I. Starting the bike at 3:05am and now chainsawing at 8am. JT | ||

I tried riding today. Cold and foggy so my shield fogged up and I was blind within three blocks of the house. Hopefully this crappy weather will break before tuesday. JT | ||

Yes, It would suck to work today but I'm on a four day weekend. I put on around 80 miles today. 11 out to Union Grove, 45 to Burlington, down 142 to Uke's then home via Sheridan Road. Nice day for the stretch of 142 that runs through the Bong Prarie. I also stopped off at the Kawi/Truimph dealer on Sheridan Rd. Those Truimphs look great. I could see myself on a 955i or a Daytona. The 955i is priced around $8,700! But they would always be second fiddle to my Buell. JT |
