LOL. Dan said we might be able to fit 3 dirt bikes. Might have to put one in backwards. We were looking at maps tonite of places to go dirt biking this summer. I'm hoping we will go out at least 2 weekends every month. We'll alternate with the street bikes. it will sleep 3 easily tho (Message edited by Jumpinjewels on December 20, 2009) |

Julie, sounds like a good plan. I know of lots of neat places to go that you would be able to ride being a newbie to off road riding. The Taylor Park area looks really nice to start. Here a few links to check out. http://www.atvtrails.org/Colorado.html http://www.dirtbikingtrails.com/scripts/three.asp? Santa left me some toys for my scooters. Top of the list: a race ECM for my XB9! Just another step towards crossing an item off my bucket list. |

Looks like y'all had a good time. Lawana cooked a ham and sides, my brother is here now for a while. We had the old guy, Bill, that we take care of and another friend from my trailer-trash days, over for dinner too. I'm still full but it's time to start getting ready to go into work. Been off since last Sunday to get Chris settled in quicker. Here's a pic of us and our Buells from a couple of years ago, in much warmer weather.

Today is Buell muffler day. I am getting together with Brian and Rodger to tear into their XB mufflers and do a modification to them like I had done to mine. I hope Brian has some heat in his garage. 10 degrees right now at my house. |

Man, I'm losing my mind. Fiance is off at her bridal shower (it's early, but this was the only time to do it.) and I'm stuck home and can't drive due to the pain meds I'm on (percocet). Sigh. I want outta here!!!! Been stuck here since the beginning of Dec. |

Hang in there Ryan - You're good to stay in pedestrian mode on Percs. Rode Loretta in this morning - saw the coldest temp yet on the AT screen... 11dF. Good thing it's a short ride. Had to "duck-walk" over ice on both ends of the trip, but the Interstate was smooth and dry. I love my heated grips and Key coveralls!!! Zack |

So John, how'd the Buell muffler day go? And Jody, you and Zac aren't the only crazy one's out there. Seems like there are Bueller's all over the country that get out in cold snowy days. You're just the only crazy one's here in CO. Well, maybe Steve, too. Ryan, hope you're healing well. Out of curiosity, what surgery did you have done? Happy New Year everyone. |

My personal record riding low is 7 degrees...that was freakin cold even with heated gear. I generally look for the teens or higher now-a-days! I decided to do a little snowboarding today instead. Eric Buell needs to design a snowboard...maybe it would help my turning! |

I can't even get Dan out unless it's at least 45 and I'd be kicking him out the door. |

Hey Julie, ask Dan it he can work from a drawing for the S2 dash?? (we talked about it while you girls were chatting) It is to scale but not the final drawing of it. I still have some things to figure out.

Frank, Dan said that shouldn't be a problem. He would just need the template to scan and then convert it. So, you could either mail it up to him or bring it up. Or you could scan it and email it to us. What metal would you want it made with? (Message edited by jumpinjewels on December 27, 2009) |

I am thinking aluminum..... I am far from needing this so when I get closer I will bring it up. I am doing the wiring on the bike now so my the time I am done I can probably ride up to your house...... |

Jewels, the surgery was to remove a cyst on my tail bone area. Not a real big one per say, just very sore and sitting hurts. To top it off it's in an area the is slow to heal. So... |

Hey Zac, got a question about availability for you. I'm in need of some parts from there for my 2005 XB9SX. They are: 1. High Performance Oil Pump Drive Gear 2. Cam Cover Gasket for 2005 Buell XB. 3. Exhaust Gaskets 4. Primary Drive cover Gaskets If you can see what you have or how long it might take to get these I would appreciate it. Also, prices too. |

Julie, Got both mufflers all modified and ready to be welded back up. Brian has a friend that will do this for them. We froze are butts off. No riding here. Streets in my neighborhood are all snow and ice covered. |

Definitely, no riding right now. Dan has the week off and we ordered blinkers and bar end mirrors for my CR, so guess what he'll be doing this week. (that is if we get them delivered this week) I am getting incredibly ansy to get out on the bike. Winter sucks. (well not really but....) |
